Hi all! Apologies for not blogging for quite a few weeks, but studying abroad has been taking up more time than anticipated. While abroad and without my full closet, I have decided to transition this blog to focus less on weather and fashion and more on what I personally wear in different countries. This means that my blogging will be less frequent and unfortunately, due to having to cut down on what clothes are packable, will provide a lack of variation. I still hope you will read it and can find some enjoyment in my writing, as I enjoy writing for you.
The weather in England, while I did expect rain, still shocked me. It seems to come from nowhere, the skies sunny one minute and pouring the next. I unfashionably keep a umbrella in the pocket of my coat, making me look quite silly. In fact, the UK has broken its record, recording rainfall for every single day of 2026, which is over 40 consecutive days. Yet this week, the sun has stayed out, a beautiful shock that allowed for fashionable expression.
For Monday I decided to test out a skirt for the first time since being abroad, and did not freeze to death! I matched the skirt to a black headband and of course had to don my trusty boots, which I believe are the only heels that work on the cobblestones that cover Bath, England. Just in case there was a slight chill in the air, I wore my thickest wool sweater to counterbalance the air on my legs, keeping me at a comfortable temperature.

After I came to the realization that wearing a skirt would not in fact give me pneumonia, I decided to fully embrace spring! On Tuesday I paired my denim skirt with a sheer oatmeal colored long sleeve, and over it my favorite cardigan to add a pop of pink. I felt like a tulip! I decided to opt out of my boots that day, they seemed a little dark for my spring color palette, instead wearing my reebok sneakers.

The warm weather even hit a sunny 60 degrees! (Fahrenheit of course, I have not adapted enough to use celsius yet). By Wednesday I had run out of skirts to wear, I packed VERY lightly, so decided to go for my favorite pair of jeans. I also only packed three t-shirts, and I chose the loose fitting one for a more relaxed vibe. Although it is not present in the image, I also paired this outfit with my reeboks.

The last outfit for this blog was logged on Thursday, one of the chillier days of that week, and on a day I am blessed with no classes. I spent most of my day inside studying, so of course my outfit had to represent that. I decided to put on my ‘athleisure’ wear, consisting of black leggings, a black lululemon dfyne jacket and a white henley beneath it. I paired this outfit with my running shoes, to finish off the ‘athleisure’ look.

Thats all for this Temperature edit! I hope to see you on my next blog taking place in…Italy!
Stay stylish!
